HealthRise team members including newly announced HealthRise South Africa Grantees publish article on Frontline Health Workers Coalition

On August 1, 2016, Dr. Sanele Madela, Director of Expectra Health Solutions which was recently announced as one of the HealthRise South Africa Grantees alongside Project Hope, published an article written in collaboration with Health Rise team members, Jessica Daly (Senior Portfolio Lead for Chronic Care at the Medtronic Foundation and Belinda Ngongo (Medtronic Foundation South Africa Associate). The article, “” was published on Frontline Health Workers Coalition’s website yesterday and features the story of “Nqobile, a mother who learned she was HIV-positive status while pregnant, well after she had been diagnosed with diabetes, and years before she was diagnosed with asthma” but has been able to successfully manage multiple chronic conditions through the support of her family and the frontline health workers in her community who have helped her with her continuation.
