For World Hypertension Day 2016, observed on May 17, 2016, Abt Associates shared Funani Juliet’s story as part of a feature on Women Around the World taking on Hypertension. During the HealthRise 2016 Global Stakeholder Event hosted at Abt Associates in Bethesda this past February, Funani Juliet was one of the four courageous and inspiring patient representatives who attended the GSE event and shared their experience living with a non-communicable disease.
